GOMENASAI!!!

December 3, 2007

Recently I just realized that I’ve been neglecting this blog. Well, guess it can’t be helped. Exams suck, and all. Just today, I finally finished studying whatever that needed studying and in two days I’ll be free!!!

…Yeah, right. -_-

As per other years, December is always the busiest month for a student + Singaporean cosplayer. Well, a student in tertiary education, at least. I know the secondary school kids are all done with their exams before I even start on mine. >_>;; But for a cosplayer…well, busy, busy.

Let’s see. After my last paper on Wednesday, I have a Gintama shoot the next day. (Fantastic, isn’t it? We finally have a shoot after one full year.) Then a week after that, I have another shoot. Well, that one is sorta secret, since I have no idea how well I can pull it off. ^^ But you’ll see.

After which I need to prepare for my trip up to Kuala Lumpur to take part in their yearly cosplay convention there. This year is the first year that I’m giving the Singapore event a miss to see what Malaysia has to offer. And because it’s a two day event, I would have to, obviously, prepare two different costumes.

I’ll be back in mid December, another Zombie Loan shoot, get a couple of days’ break in my own bed before going off for a Clamp chalet. Yes, you got me right. A Clamp cosplay chalet. At least the costume(s) for this one are done.

Christmas comes after. Which reminds me that I haven’t done my Christmas shopping yet. ARGH!! Busy, busy!!! Damn, I just can’t wait for exams to be over so that I can do a nosedive into this.

I got an email from the Stuttgart side, telling me that I need to be there by 3 March, since they insist I enroll myself into their one month language crash course before starting my semester there. Fair enough, but that also means I would not be cosplaying for GACC. Change of plans is necessary. But at least my next year’s cosplay plans are more or less finalized. I hope. And I have also semi-decided on which costumes to bring over to Germany next year for their events there, like Hanami! I’ve heard nothing but good things about it and I just can’t wait to visit!

Plans for the 2 months that I’ll be in Singapore however, would be:

Start of Year Event- Bekko (Zombie Loan)
The Matsuri- Oono Suefumi (Harukanaru Toki no Naka de Maihitoyo)
Touch of Paradise- Shihoudani Yuujirou (Princess Princess)

[tentative] CosBall- Subaru (Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles)

Other Photoshoots
Nagisa Kaworu (Evangelion)
Mikoshiba Shouta (DOLLS)
Zack Fair (Final Fantasy VII – Crisis Core)
Dietrich von Lohengrin (Trinity Blood)
Rabi (D.Gray-Man)
Yazoo (Final Fantasy VII – Advent Children)

All these to complete in 2 months. Is that even possible? XD

Well, last thing to update. I have been rather tardy in handling my photoshoot photos, yeah? After all, the last one that I updated about was Fairy Cube…which was in September…

Hey! I actually came across your blog through LJ, and yes, this is rather awkward since I don’t really know how to approach you on this matter.

I noticed that you’re studying Eng. Lit in NUS. I wanted to major in Eng. Lit, [I'm studying in JB, M'sia, still waiting for my SPM results, not sure what the level is in Singapore though.] but I wasn’t sure of the qualifications, and rather, more importantly, the kind of jobs I will be able to undertake once I complete the studies. I also want to know how the syllabus is. Like, what other minors we have to take and such.

If it isn’t a bother, would you mind adding me to MSN chat, or me adding you to ask further about this? And yes, I was a little too late to apply for the ASEAN scholarship to further my studies in SIngapore, so might be going to NUS a little later if I’m able to. ^^;; I am hoping to get there though.

Erm, sorry about this rather serious post, but I really want to know more. :(

    Thank you. :) Nicole.

I’m hardly available on msn. But if you would like to contact me through email, I’ll be fine with that.
